About Tribe Hockey
The Tribe Hockey team at the College of William & Mary is a Division III member of the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) competing in the Blue Ridge Hockey Conference (BRHC). Founded in 1987 and organized under William & Mary’s Sport Club Program, our team competes with universities in the Mid-Atlantic region from Maryland to North Carolina and all across Virginia.
Tribe Hockey is composed of players who chose William & Mary for its stellar academic reputation as a distinct "Public Ivy" and who want to play competitive hockey as a part of a complete college experience. Since 2007, 32 players have received ACHA Academic All-American honors. As a result, our sport club athletes employ the same work ethic on and off the ice. The student-led program offers our players a variety of leadership development roles and encourages a commitment to community engagement.
Tribe Hockey has a dedicated volunteer coaching staff with Head Coach Ken Felix at the helm. The program receives support from the greater campus community as well as from an active alumni base around the country. Following our BRHC league championship victory in 2011, the team has continued to build momentum in our competitive collegiate schedule.
